A crashed landing pod that serves as your respawn point. It replenishes oxygen and provides storage, solar power and a battery.

How to obtain
The lander is already on the home planet when a new game begins, and you start beside it. It cannot be crafted or repaired into a flying ship. A flyable spaceship must be built separately.
